		<description>It's been a while since I did any work with this but as I recall the main issue is that SimpleDB doesn't have a crossdomain.xml.  I never tested what you suggest but it's worth a try if you think you have a possible workaround.  Be sure you don't have your AWS keys embedded in a .swf because they are easy to decompile.</description>

Is it possible to use your code in that way: running the swf in a server enviroment embed in html body with  crossdomain.xml located on top?
