Have you got Much Ado?

Organize the tasks you’re responsible for with Much Ado, a tool created to easily manage the multitude of tasks we all have in our busy lives.
Your tasks are automagically organized into lists which are displayed on the main screen. New tasks can easily and quickly be added to existing an existing list or new lists created at any time.

The tabs across the bottom are shortcuts to tasks which are organized for you.

The ‘Lists’ tab will return you to the home screen showing all of the lists you have created or the tasks in a specific list.

The ‘Today’ tab shows all of the tasks that are due today.

The ‘This week’ tab shows all of the tasks due this week.

The ‘Overdue’ tab shows all of the tasks that are overdue.

And the ‘Done’ tab shows all of the tasks you have marked as completed.

Clicking a todo list displays all of the tasks in that list.

One this screen you can:

    * add new tasks
* mark tasks as completed
* delete tasks

You can easily see what you have done and what is left to do. To mark a task complete simply click the check box. It couldn’t be easier.

Creating a new task is simple. Just give the task a description and optionally indicate a due date. Click the ‘done’ button and the task is saved. It’s quick and easy.

The overdue tasks shortcut displays all of the tasks which have dates that are past due. Oops. you better get busy and knock those items out. On the upside you can easily see what if any tasks are overdue on the screen without having to check each and every list.

The completed shortcut displays all of the tasks you’ve completed. You rock! After doing all this work you deserve to sit back and enjoy a glass lemon aide.

When WidgetCircles™ approached me to develop their PersonalMediaBook™ (PMB) software I was immediately interested. I hadn’t before seen a product quite like what they were proposing. In addition to creating something that didn’t already have a presence in the market place, the project promised to be significant in scope requiring the full breadth of my skill set.

Not only did WidgetCircles™ want the product developed in Adobe® AIR™ but it would also require a database backend. This was exactly the kind of project I was looking for when it came along.

The WidgetCircles™ PersonalMediaBook™ is in a nutshell a virtual scrapbook. PMB users can upload photos and videos into a personal book along with text entries. The software appears as a book on the desktop and opens to reveal pages just as a real book. The user can add and remove pages at will in different sections and adding content is accomplished via drag and drop. There is also an area with sticky notes allowing readers of the book to leave short notes to the author. Pages in the book are flipped revealing the contents that have been added by the author. The flipbook component itself wasn’t developed by Cafe Silencio but rather was developed by Ruben Swieringa.
Cafe Silencio was responsible for developing the application using the Adobe® AIR™ platform and designing a system that would implement the features WidgetCircles™ wanted in order to realize their vision. Cafe Silencio designed the database schema as well as the middle tier in order to ensure the system not only functioned as designed but was scalable and secure.

I’m very proud to announce the completion of my latest project Cigano. Cigano is a personal database application for Android smart phones. I’ve been needing a program like this for quite some time and since I couldn’t find what I needed already available I did it myself. I created the application with both myself and the average user in mind. I attempted to make the program easy to use and useful. I have many ideas for enhancements that I will be adding in the near future. In the meantime this first release meets my needs and I hope others will find it useful also.
